Rey's own experience with Luke had not gome how she wanted or expected, as a matter of fact it was pretty short lived and apart of her often asked if she had gained anything at all besides more disappointment and a sense of loss. She yearned for more training, anything to help her feel more settled and comfortable with all of this.

She still had so many questions she wanted answer but she never got them and those she did just broken her heart. Her own breathing slowed down to a soft rythem as a warmth flowed through her, he felt warm.

"I've felt the darkness too, it's called to me and it pulled me straight to it. I think I allowed it, I know it frightened Master Skywalker back on the island." After a moment she leaned forward and brushed an innocent kiss along his forehead. "That's what its like for me sometimes. That need to protect or help those in danger or myself."

She lowered her head for a moment because for some reason she felt a bit emotional. Maybe it was due to the events with Kylo, how she made the choice to go to him and hopefully pull him away from The First Order. She was foolish because she thought she could help him, save him.

She had been wrong.

Her arms moved to wrap around him suddenly, her face burrowing against his shoulder as she muttered, "I'm so glad you're back now."
