Despite the moment, he couldn't help a little shiver at the brush of her lips. His hand stilled on her back as he simply held her close for a moment, and he turned his head slightly to press a kiss to the top of her head even as she nuzzled against him.

"I'll stay close." he softly assured her. "I'll hold you all night if you'd like."

Poe pulled back just enough to kiss her temple and he gave her a small but warm smile. "Come on, no need for us to hang around here. It certainly wouldn't make a very comfortable spot to sleep." he joked. He doubted either of them would sleep soon but getting more comfortable -- and seeking privacy -- would help the both of them to unwind.
