While Poe didn't have anything he could really compare their bond to, he knew that he hadn't felt this way about anyone else before. Granted, his feelings when they came to Kylo were complicated at best, but they were certainly there. When restful sleep remained a rare occurrence for one reason or another, it left him with plenty of time to think. More and more often either the other man or the things they talked about were on his mind. He couldn't say he made an effort to delve too deep into thinking on some subjects -- like the fact his opinion of Kylo had changed at all -- but that had become a bad habit of Poe's that wasn't restricted to simply where the other man was concerned.

His brow furrowed some as he watched Kylo. It was strange to see him like this. Almost shy? Which wasn't a word Poe would have ever associated with him before.

"If it makes you feel better, I'm not generally the most patient either." Poe remarked, shrugging a shoulder. He would save remarking on the more personal thread of the conversation for a more appropriate moment. Just because he was feeling less anxious now didn't mean he had forgotten about what was going on outside the two of them. "I'm sure we'll figure it out. We're both certainly stubborn enough to." he added, cracking a grin, his habit of trying to lighten up serious moments coming through. "Who knows, maybe it'll be like flying for me." Poe kind of doubted it, but considering he hadn't exactly been making an effort to do anything with his abilities it was difficult to say how he would take to using the Force.
